(True for any external keyboard.) – The price. What I didn’t like: – The keys are very close together. I have average sized thumbs/fingers for a fairly large guy and it was difficult for me to reliably hit the correct key (and only the correct key). – The top row of keys, the numbers, are particularly difficult to use because there are so close to the edge of the case. – There’s a 2-key sequence to switch between using this keyboard and the standard on-screen one. If you close the keyboard without hitting the sequence you won’t be able to type anything without re-opening the keyboard first. – You lose the Auto Capitalize and “hitting space twice starts a new sentence” functions. – It’s harder to type in dim light or the dark since you can’t see the keys like you can with the on-screen keyboard. (True with any external keyboard that isn’t backlit (backlighted?). Bottom line: Well built with a few irritating design issues. This could be an excellent value for someone with small hands and nimble fingers. |
